A simple action or a few kind words can transform someone's moment especially when they are going through a rough time. Even a smile on your face compared to a serious expression is enough to reveal your personality and the level of kindness. In today's fast paced world, where people are overwhelmed with multitasking with the constant pressure of social media, one has no choice but to be matured enough to enhance and elevate the level of kindness towards everyone.

In our day-to-day lives, we engage in and experience countless acts and behaviors that reflect kindness which not only uplift others but also gives us a feeling of satisfaction and contentment of being a good human being. Despite this, the data on suffering across the planet and the impact on one's mental health is still alarming. No doubt, we need to do something more not just for sustainability of our planet but more importantly for the wellbeing and dignity of the humanity across the planet.
There is a beautiful word called 'Ubuntu', rooted in South African philosophy, which relates to humanity, compassion and interconnectedness and it simply means 'I am because we are'. In today's world, when everyone is self-centered, the word 'Ubuntu' reminds us that we all are suffering and therefore we need to be more compassionate towards each other so that each one of us can live a happy and satisfied life.
Being egoistic and harsh most of the times and being kind occasionally will not help. Let's thrive to continuously be kind for everyone on this planet no matter their behavior with you. Let's break the chain of suffering by choosing kindness, cooperation, empathy and service. Let's listen more and help more as our shared humanity is what truly connects us all.

The emotions of competition, jealousy, comparison and so on that we all often experience in our daily lives can quietly erode kindness from our hearts. Therefore, we have to be smart enough to protect ourselves from being consumed by these emotions. Moreover, the belief that what we think about others is always right, is a very powerful and dangerous mindset. It not only distances us from kindness but can also deeply affect others emotionally and even harming their mental wellbeing. We often don't know what others are going through or the challenges they are facing and therefore we should avoid being judgmental of their behavior. A little more understanding and a little less judgment can make the world a kinder place.
Sthitapragya Diaries encourages its readers to practice the act of genuine kindness towards the society at all times irrespective of other's behavior. Let go of the urge to compete with others as we all are playing our unique roles in this shared journey of life. Remember the word 'Ubuntu' which means 'I am because we are'. Let's allow others to live their life in their own way without trying to control or criticize their choices as this does not lead to a compassionate or kind behavior towards the society. Instead, focus on trashing the biggest enemy of kindness from this planet, which is one's egoistic behavior and the mindset that what we think about others is always correct. Let's choose kindness over control, empathy over ego, and connection over criticism and elevate kindness for everyone around us.

Interesting perspective and a convincing reasoning that motivates us to collaborate and not compete!
Wonderful reminder as always
