Confidence has no competition. Very true. Both these words starting with the letter 'C' namely ‘competition’ and ‘confidence’ highly affect and impact everyone's lives. But most of us incorporate more 'competition' over 'confidence' in our lives without being fully aware of its consequences.
We all think that competition helps to make us more confident. But we fail to understand that the ultimate levels of both 'confidence' and 'competition' cannot be achieved simultaneously. One of these 'C's' takes a front seat in your life depending upon your choices and mindset. When you are living with a purpose to compete, you may sound confident but this is not real confidence. Most of us focus on competition rather than focusing on being confident.

Let's consider how it is possible to focus on becoming more confident rather than being more competitive. Rather than copying the styles and brands of others, wear or own products that build your confidence and make you feel happy. Create your own style no matter how simple it is. Spend time and energy in doing things that make you feel good or which you are passionate about rather than following the rat race and competing for everything, be it an educational degree, marriage, career, money, property, home, lifestyle and so on. Because it is human nature to continuously evolve and achieve new heights, we must remember that the only way to outdo our competitors is to focus on our task at hands, and ensure that we are performing it to the best of our abilities and with full confidence.

Remember that if you are focusing more on competing with others in each of your life areas rather than building your confidence levels and performing your duties properly, there will never be an end to running in this rat race. Competition will not allow you to achieve anything else except creating more and more desires and adversely impacting your confidence levels and quality of life making you feel more and more frustrated and anxious.

Therefore, instead of focusing more on competition, let’s adopt the correct 'C' which is Confidence and watch your life bloom. The only person that you should think of competing with is yourself.
Next time when your mind bothers you about competing with someone or something, remind your mind that you have adopted the correct 'C' (Confidence over Competition) and therefore your mind needs to focus on confidence by continuously living your best life and giving the best to each and everything you do.
