The terms 'Cheat food' or 'Cheat meals' or 'Cheat day' are often heard, but 'Cheat happiness' sounds very much unfamiliar.
Well, we all know that a cheat day or a cheat meal in terms of diet is when a person accepts to eat/ consume less healthy or unhealthy food (or food that is not part of their daily diet) either for a day or part of a day or a particular time while following strict healthy diet normally or most of the time. Cheat meals are mostly considered as a motivation for a person to continue following healthy diet for most of the time. However, mostly everyone tries to maintain a balance between healthy meals and cheat meals rather than only having cheat meals or more of cheat meals.
When it comes to happiness, what do we do. Do we try to balance our happiness such that there is more of real happiness and less of cheat happiness in our lives? Cheat happiness is nothing but the temporary happiness that we all want to receive from temporary desires or temporary things. What is the proportion of real happiness v/s cheat happiness in your life? I am quite confident that the answers for most of us will be more of cheat happiness compared to real happiness. Many of us would have realized the concept of cheat happiness for the first time.
So, what is real happiness? How to enjoy more of real happiness and less of cheat happiness? Real happiness - the happiness in your life that will nourish your body, mind and soul continuously irrespective of where you are, how you look or what you possess thereby enhancing and transforming your life day by day and making you feel blissful. The best way to start this journey is to start spending time with your self in peace or in nature and meditating rather than running a rat race behind temporary things, places, desires and spending whole life with cheat happiness. Don't waste hours and hours browsing internet or on unnecessary things and tasks. Gossiping and unhealthy discussions should also be avoided. Perform your basic duties very nicely and participate in random acts of kindness. Count your blessings and practice gratitude every day. Perform spiritual practice and recite the holy scriptures with complete surrender and faith in God. Just as we control our cheat meals, take every effort to control cheat happiness and see your life blossom with contentment and divine experience - that is, with REAL HAPPINESS.
