Last week one of my office colleagues got a very deserving promotion and we all were very excited to celebrate. But instead of asking our colleague for a treat, we all decided to surprise her by visiting her home on the weekend and celebrating with her. Each one of our team members also decided to prepare one special dish rather than ordering food. It was such a lovely idea and we all had excellent time with each other. I realized that the excitement was because we neither demanded nor expected our colleague who got promotion to treat us for her achievement. Rather, we decided to treat her and in the process each one of us got the treat too. Many of us would have done similar things either with family, friends or at workplace. What do we learn from this?
If every individual strongly determines to continuously perform one's duties at all times without relating it with others behaviour/ actions, then not only the lives of these individuals but everyone around them will change resulting in a magical change and growth of the overall society.

We all are very well aware and acknowledge the fact that one should perform one's duties. This message however stresses the importance to develop one's mindset in such a way that one constantly thinks about performing his/her duties without thinking about or focusing on any other factors such as other's behaviour or actions which are not in accordance with one's expectations. People should be busy thinking and implementing their duties without bothering to think whether others performed their duties or not or whether others fulfilled their expectations or not. Imagine the happiness and prosperity that would spread throughout the world through this magical change implemented by more and more people, government offices and business corporations.

To summarize, knowing that we should perform our duty at all times is not enough. Each one of us should endeavor to actually implement this principle by changing one's mindset and focusing solely on performing one's duties at all times without giving attention to anything else that restricts one from performing such duties.

How to develop that
